Chris Cronin – Executive Producer/Creative Director
An established Hollywood Creative Director, Film Editor and Broadcast Producer, Chris emerged onto the Los Angeles scene in 2001 coming from an established media production background in Chicago. He has received awards from TV Guide (Best Sci-Fi Production For Web), The Brooklyn Film Festival (Best Picture), The Los Angeles International Latino Festival (Best Picture) and the American Independent Film Festival (Best Experimental Feature) among others. He is a cousin of original Apple computer programming pioneer Steve “Woz” Wozniak and attended the same high school as Ernest Hemingway, Frank Lloyd Wright and Ray Kroc (Oak Park-River Forest).
In 2001, Mr. Cronin met Jesse Talamantez while working as the in-house producer at V Squared Labs in North Hollywood, CA. They were producing large-scale “Experience Visuals” for international concert tours. The first project they delivered was the double-platinum selling “Deuce” interactive DVD experience for Sony Music’s rock band Korn. This unique collaboration between Sony Music, New Line Cinema, The Firm, and V Squared Labs wound up working really well as Deuce shot right up the sales charts.
Chris has produced and/or edited projects for CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, SHOWTIME NETWORKS, DISCOVERY CHANNEL, TBWA/CHIAT DAY, THE INCUBATOR, MERV GRIFFIN GROUP, NEW LINE CINEMA, GRB and more.
His literary endeavors include an ongoing role as contributing author for Lumpen Media Group in Chicago.
Chris brings visionary leadership and vast amounts of industry knowledge to the Gordo and Flaco team. He doesn’t “run with scissors” and knows “when to hold them” and “when to fold them.” FYI: he’s nicknamed, “The Big Man.” An apt moniker for this 6’7” giant.
“Chris, you pulled off a GREAT video with little timing and a lot of back and fourth. I truly appreciate all the hard work that went into this and I know that I can always count on you to get the job done You should give yourself a big pat on the back!!”
