Recently Gordo and Flaco completed a business development project with Gureishii Enterprises, Inc. opening “Gracie’s Emporium” in La Quinta , CA.  This new boutique retail store has some of the most one-of-a-kind, exquisite items found anywhere.  Gordo and Flaco handled all aspects of this retail development project from setting up the business end to finding the vendors, putting the POS system in place and all the construction, build-out and financial duties.

Solution: Oversee the conception and build-out of a franchise-able retail store. Establish retail store location, negotiate lease terms, set-up POS service partner, open store and bank accounts, hire legal and accounting firm, hire employees, travel to manufacturer’s trade shows and locations nationwide, hire interior designer/concept team,  construction crew, foreman, project manager, electricians and contractors. Design and build custom displays fixture, lighting, and store floor plan. Concept and design of Gracie’s website, initiate local PR campaign, plan opening night party, design and manufacture packaging supplies, day to day office management, legal, create retail  store policy and procedures, with employee handbook.
